General notes
The operator of these pages takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations for Austria and this privacy policy.
"Personal data" means information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a natural person (Article 4(1) GDPR).
This privacy policy contains information about what data is collected and for what purpose it is used.
This privacy policy also contains the information obligations pursuant to the Telekommunikationsgesetz (TKG) and the Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (GDPR) / General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union is abbreviated to "GDPR" in the following.
When using this website, various data is collected automatically, which may also be personal data. This data, such as IP addresses, is absolutely necessary so that the service requested by the user or the website itself can be made available.
The website operator attempts to protect the processed data as best as possible. Data transmission on the Internet may have security gaps due to the transmission protocols, programs or settings used. Absolute protection of data against access by unauthorized persons is therefore not possible.
What are Cookies
Cookies and data in the Local Storage are text data that are stored on your computer by the web browser. They make it possible to store data that can be retrieved the next time you access the webpage or the next time you visit the website. Cookies are used to make the website more secure and user-friendly. Local Storage essentially differs only in the method of access, but not in the purpose. Therefore, data in Local Storage is also meant here when the term "Cookies" is used.
You can configure most web browsers so that cookies are not stored, only stored temporarily or only stored with your consent. You can also delete all or only certain cookies in the web browser settings. Some web browsers also allow you to disable web technologies that can track user activity.
If cookies are deactivated or deleted, the functionality of this website may be limited.
What are Session Cookies
Session cookies are data that are stored by the web server on the web server itself. They are used for secure data exchange between the individual pages of a website without having to be transmitted via URL or in the HTTP request. This data is only stored for the current session and is automatically deleted by the web server.

Processed data
Google AdSense
This website uses the “Google AdSense” service to display advertising. Google AdSense is operated by the company Google. LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
For users who have their habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, is the controller responsible for your data, unless otherwise specified by Google.
The website operator has activated the option of non-personalized ads for visitors in the European Economic Area in the Google AdSense settings, which, according to Google, means that data is no longer collected for the personalization of advertisements. However, cookies are still created for security and technical reasons, for example to combat fraud and abuse or for ad reports.
In addition, the website operator has deactivated user-based advertising for all visitors in the Google AdSense settings. According to Google, this means that, among other things, advertising based on user interests is no longer displayed. In connection with the California Consumer Privacy Act, data processing via the Google AdSense settings has been restricted.
You can also make your own settings in your Google account settings to restrict or delete the data collected by Google. You can find the settings for personalized advertising, for example, on the page https://myadcenter.google.com/.
The data collected by Google, either through cookies or other web technologies, such as your IP address, will be transferred to Google in the USA. Google reserves the right to pass this information on to contractual partners.
How Google uses cookies and other web technologies is disclosed by Google on the page https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
How Google uses the data of website visitors is explained on the page https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites by Google.
In the Google privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) you can find out what data is collected by Google, what purposes it is used for and how you can delete your data.
You can deactivate or restrict cookies in your web browser settings independently of Google.
The use of Google AdSense and the associated data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in refinancing its website through the use of advertising so that the content of the website can be offered to visitors free of charge.
Cookies
Since personal data may be processed on this website, a corresponding notice pursuant to § 96 (3) TKG 2003 is displayed in the cookie banner. This website may contain advertising, which may also use cookies (for more information, see point "Google AdSense").
Required / non-optional cookies
The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies that are necessary for the secure, technically error-free functioning, or desired functionality of the website. The basis for storing such cookies is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Non-optional cookies include, for example, your selection regarding the use of cookies or the color scheme you set on the website itself.
Optional cookies
You can object to the use of cookies that are not required for the operation of the website and the fulfillment of legal obligations. This includes, for example, cookies from third-party providers such as Google AdSense.
These cookies are only used if you have consented to the use of optional cookies.
Web server logs
The computer responsible for generating and transmitting the web pages (web server) automatically logs certain information from the requests made by the web browser.
This information includes:
- IP address or host name (depending on server settings)
- Date and time of access
- Requested file
- Amount of data transferred
- URL of the referrer (if sent by the web browser)
- Name and version of the web browser and possibly the operating system and/or the set language(s) (if sent by the web browser)
This data is stored to protect against misuse of the services offered and for the purpose of tracing attacks and other criminal offenses. This data is also used for statistical purposes and to identify and rectify errors in order to improve the service. The data is analyzed both by the website operator and by the web space provider for the website operator (see "Contract for commissioned data processing"). Third-party providers, such as Google Analytics, are not used.
The basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The processing is absolutely necessary to maintain the security and functionality of the web server and the website. There is therefore no possibility of objection. The logs are deleted at regular intervals as soon as the reason for storing them no longer applies. The enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with statutory provisions, such as retention obligations in particular, remain unaffected.
If you send a message to the website operator by e-mail, it will be stored for the purpose of replying to and processing your message, including any queries from both communication partners. The message usually contains, among other things, your e-mail address, the IP address of the sending computer and the message text you have entered. Messages will not be passed on without your consent.
The data will be stored by the website operator until you revoke your consent to processing, request deletion or the purpose for storage no longer applies. The enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with statutory provisions, such as retention obligations in particular, remain unaffected by this.
Data processing is carried out with your consent and thus on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The revocation can be made informally by e-mail to the website operator.
Online tools
Some online tools require or enable you to enter data that may also be forwarded to other websites or services so that the information you require can be displayed.
For example, a DNS query for a domain or IP address is forwarded to DNS servers, or a Whois query is forwarded to one or more Whois servers. If technically possible or useful, the name of the requested server is included in the displayed result.
Some online tools store your entries, including the current time and the IP address of the requesting computer. This information is absolutely necessary to maintain the security and functionality of the online tools and the website as a whole, in particular to prevent misuse or paralysis of the online offering due to excessive use of the online tools. There is therefore no possibility of objection. The logs are deleted at regular intervals as soon as the reason for storing them no longer applies. The enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with statutory provisions, such as retention obligations in particular, remain unaffected by this.
If you provide your personal data, it will be processed and transmitted on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
